Topic and Unit Description

Unit 1: BSBLDR411 Demonstrate leadership in the workplace

Learn how to model effective leadership by setting a positive example, fostering a productive work environment, and guiding teams to achieve organisational goals. Uncover the type of leader that you would like to be.

Unit 2: BSBPEF502 Develop and use emotional intelligence

Enhance emotional awareness, understand its impact on workplace relationships, and use emotional intelligence to manage stress, improve communication, and navigate challenges.

Unit 3: BSBPEF401 Manage personal health and wellbeing

Focuses on strategies for managing personal health in a professional setting, covering stress management, work-life balance, and mindfulness.

Unit 4: BSBPEF501 Manage personal and professional development

Emphasizes creating strategies for ongoing growth, including goal setting, feedback, and identifying opportunities for self-improvement.

Unit 7: BSBOPS502 Manage business operational plans

Covers managing operational tasks like developing and executing business plans, aligning with goals, resource management, and performance monitoring, ideal for leaders in business strategy.

Unit 8: BSBOPS505 Manage organisational customer service

Focuses on managing organizational customer service through strategy development, service improvement, complaint handling, and fostering customer satisfaction.

Unit 9: BSBCRT511 Develop critical thinking in others

Teaches leaders to encourage critical thinking by guiding teams in problem-solving, strategic analysis, and informed decision-making for innovation.

Unit 5: BSBLDR523 Lead and manage effective workplace relationships

Teaches leaders to build positive workplace relationships through effective communication, conflict resolution, and team motivation, fostering collaboration and trust.

Unit 6: BSBTWK502 Manage team effectiveness

Focuses on improving team performance by defining roles, managing dynamics, and providing feedback, helping leaders boost team productivity and morale.

Unit 10: BSBCMM511 Communicate with influence

Develops skills to communicate persuasively, influence stakeholders, and lead change, covering techniques for both formal and informal communication.

Unit 11: BSBCMM412 Lead difficult conversations

Equips leaders to manage challenging workplace conversations with emotional intelligence, active listening, and professionalism.

Unit 12: BSBTWK503 Manage meetings

Develops the essential skills to plan, lead, and manage effective meetings. Focuses on strategies for clear communication, active participation, and structured outcomes, ensuring meetings are productive and align with organizational objectives.

There are two sign up paperwork to complete – one for the Training Organisation and one to access funding.
